This 1-foot-tall bronze bell, found on the Queen Anne's Revenge but believed to be too small to be its main bell, was heavily encrusted and required chemical treatment. Letters on its surface read "IHS (Iesu, Hominorum Salvator) Maria" and "ano de 1709 (year of 1709)."
